Portrait of my father

This portrait was featured in the Thank you dad, Cảm ơn ba group exhibition with Lily Nguyen and Julianne Nguyen. The paintings were based on old found photographs of Lily’s father when he was migrating to Australia as a young man. There paintings were showcased and displayed at Sunshine Art Space in the western suburbs of Melbourne where majority of Vietnamese refugees migrated in the 1970s.
