Lily Nguyen is an illustrator and comic artist living in Melbourne, Australia.
Her work explores the mundane everyday life of a Vietnamese-Australian living in the Western suburbs of Melbourne.
Her artwork explores various themes of identity, curious storytelling, mental health and personal events that she experienced through her unique lens.
Throughout her creative folio she has taught zine making workshops at the Footscray Art Centre, crafted interviews at the Brimbank Readers and Writers Festival, mentored an emerging artist as a part of the Arts Access cultural mentorship program and facilitated afterschool art workshops to students at the St. Albans Art Centre. Her comics have published in the Genzine, In Colour, and the Resonant Voices Zine, as she was shortlisted to take part of the 6 month-long creative art advocacy program funded by Victorian University.
